Hardware Versions
The range of aQ Broadcast hardware products includes the aVS (Video Server), aMS (Media System) and QuBE (Broadcast Engine) systems.
entry level video server
The entry-level aVS provides two bi-directional SDI ports with genlock in a 1U chassis and offers 2 TB of internal mirrored storage.
Entry Level (3U) aVS Video Server
The entry-level aVS provides two or four bi-directional SDI ports with genlock in a 3U chassis and offers 2 TB (minimum) of internal mirrored storage.
MID RANGE VIDEO SERVER
The mid-range aVS units provide two or four bi-directional SDI ports in a 1U chassis, with redundant power supplies, and provide at least 3 TB (usable) of hardware-RAID protected storage.
MID RANGE VIDEO SERVER (2U)
The mid-range (2U) aVS units provide four or six bi-directional SDI ports in a 2U chassis, with redundant power supplies, and provide at least 5 TB (usable) of hardware RAID-6 protected storage. The larger chassis provides options for larger amounts of storage and alternative connection options - for instance analogue in addition to SDI.
MID RANGE VIDEO SERVER (3U)
The mid-range (3U) aVS units provide four or six bi-directional SDI ports in a 3U chassis, with redundant power supplies, and provide at least 5 TB (usable) of hardware RAID-6 protected storage. The larger chassis provides options for larger amounts of storage and alternative connection options - for instance analogue in addition to SDI.
